LETTER FROM LARRY
Fran,
We have put our farm up for sale. I decided I don't need to be a farmer anymore. As time rolls on, I want to spend more time with writing and playing music. I won't move to a city however, but probably end up on 5 acres or so, so I can raise my own food and have privacy, etc. I've lived in the mountains too long to adapt to lots of people. I am playing in 2 local bands, and have a solo piano bar gig 2 nites a week, every 6 weeks for 2 weeks, and have my little demo studio running , where I am working on a Blues-Jazz instrumental album, which probably doesn't mean a damn thing. But that's what I like playing at this point in my life. I am playing better than ever, and still do an occasional recording gig. Am playing with Johnny Rivers on October 4th when he plays a casino gig up here. He is always fun to play with. I did a live album at the "Whiskey" a year ago December. Don't hear anymore from David, but still keep in touch with Mike and Jimmy. That's pretty much it from here. Gotta get back to bringing in my winter's firewood. Good to hear from you,
Larry
