Going Back to Boston!

Part 2

Here are some more photos from the "Rock with the Jocks" concert.

Signed shirt by the boys.

Some of the memorabilia in the silent auction featured items signed by the band.

Jim Della Croce (you may remember that name from Jimmy's days with The Remingtons) played drums on a few of the songs. He had the winning bid on the specially designed Boston Celtics electric guitar: $5,000.

The musicians were WAY more friendly and obliging than most of the athletes were. They signed everything, posed for pictures with anyone who asked and Don even gave out about half a dozen drumsticks! (Yep - I got one!)

Don vamps to "Some Kind of Wonderful."

Jimmy commented on how much energy Don had and how different Grand Funk Railroad was from Bread.

It was a great thrill to meet Terry and I was really glad to get my copy of "Griffin and Sylvester" signed by each.

All in all, a great night!
