Going Back to Boston!
On April 9, 1998, Jimmy, along with Terry Sylvester (of The Hollies) and Don Brewer (of Grand Funk Railroad) played a benefit concert here in Boston (along with Bill Kelly of The Buoys and Dakota.) It was titled "Rock with the Jocks" and featured music, a silent auction of music and sports memorabilia and appearances by all of the members of the Boston Celtics. It was a benefit to help revitalize inner city neighborhoods and was co-sponsored by the Boston Celtics and the Fannie Mae Foundation. See more information between some of the photos below.
The format for the show itself was that each of the three stars performed three of their signature songs with a few other tunes thrown in to round out the show.

| This was the obligatory "group shot" and beside Don Brewer, if you look closely to his left, you'll see Peter Wolf - former lead singer for the J. Geils Band, which was very popular way back when, especially in the Boston area. |
