There are several choices below that will let you get the tour itinerary, read reviews and interviews and see some behind-the-scenes photos from the tour. But first, a few words about this tour.
The major thrust behind this tour is for the band to visit places they never toured during their hey-day. In this first portion of the tour, they will start in South Africa. Then it's on to New Zealand and Australia.
A number of people are naturally interested in U.S. tour dates. Except for the kick-off dates in Atlantic City (August 30, 31 and September 1), there are no other U.S. dates scheduled for 1996. It is possible that there will be a show on New Year's Eve, but this may end up being a corporate show, tickets to which will be hard to come by. As soon as I get any info on U.S. dates, I will post them.
They have signed an 18 month contract, so this should keep them together until the end of 1997 (at least). So the chances for some U.S. shows should increase as times goes on. As for a new CD, it is possible. A live CD is also possible. It's really too early in the whole process to predict what will happen. I imagine a lot will depend on how they are received in the foreign venues (i.e., are the shows selling out?, etc.). I'll keep you posted the best that I can.
